I am an associate professor of philosophy at The Dominican School of Philosophy & Theology in Berkeley, California. My research focuses on perennial issues at the intersection of metaphysics and philosophy of mind, as well as on a variety of topics in the history of philosophy (especially medieval philosophy). I am particularly interested in social ontology, theories of intersubjectivity, and philosophical anthropology. In current projects I explore the nature of shared experience, features of Thomas Aquinas’s conception of mental representation, the structure of joint agency, and the role that interpersonal relations play in a theory of personhood.
